Automation Sales Representative

Alpha Matrix is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base in the Mid-East/South-East region of the United States, focusing on areas within the Nashville, Atlanta, and Charlotte triangle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting contract manufacturing and Food & Beverage companies within the specified region.
- Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing organizations.
- Present and demonstrate automation equipment solutions tailored to client needs, emphasizing efficiency and process improvements.
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and prospects, conducting in-person meetings and consultations.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent post-sales support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and follow-up on projects.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets with uncapped commission potential.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment sales, preferably in the Food and Beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of automation solutions and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in contract manufacturing sales is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently from a home office and travel as needed.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Base salary of $115K - $125K based on experience.
- Uncapped commission, offering high earning potential based on performance.
- Travel will vary depending on your location within the assigned region.
