Job Title: Assistant Vice President, Marketing

Lindenwood University seeks a highly skilled and experienced marketing professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Marketing. This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to promote the University and enhance student interest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase enrollment and promote the University's academic programs.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals to create and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment Management to implement marketing plans that drive student interest and lead generation.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials, including print and online ads, and ensure consistency in branding across all channels.
  • Research and negotiate media buys to increase enrollment and promote the University's academic programs.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring alignment with strategic planning and institutional efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and teamwork, encouraging diverse ideas and excellence in attention to detail.
  • Implement a data-driven approach to guide marketing efforts and measure performance against established goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, business, management, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in marketing strategy and execution, with a proven track record of success.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven project management skills in marketing and strategic communications.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and shift focus as determined by the changing needs of the organization.
Work Environment:

The Assistant Vice President, Marketing will work in a general office setting, with occasional night and weekend work. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively at a computer for extended periods and provide campus tours for visiting community partners.
