The Chief Educational Officer is responsible for cultivating a thriving educational atmosphere on the designated campus, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn effectively, while also fostering high levels of employee morale and maintaining strong public trust in the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a conducive learning environment for all students.
- Enhance employee satisfaction through effective leadership.
- Build and maintain public confidence in the educational institution.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Master's Degree in Education or related field.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Certification in Mid-Management or Principalship, including Principal as an Instructional Leader.
- Completion of Instructional Leadership Development (ILD) and/or Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL).
- Certification in Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS).
- Certification in Texas Principal Evaluation and Support System (T-PESS) or willingness to obtain within the first year of appointment.
Experience:
- Demonstrated administrative experience in applying district curriculum to cater to diverse student needs, including special populations and at-risk students (preferred).
- Proven track record in instructional leadership and adapting educational strategies to promote student achievement (preferred).
- Experience in fostering positive relationships between the school and the community (preferred).
- Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in a public school setting.
- Additional year of teaching or related experience is advantageous.
- At least three (3) years of administrative experience in a public school environment.
Compensation:
Daily Salary: $565.62
