The Relationship Banker is a key member of our sales team, responsible for building strong relationships with our members and providing them with tailored financial solutions. Key Responsibilities- Process routine financial transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, and cashier's checks, while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal procedures.
- Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely resolution of member concerns.
- Proactively identify and recommend the best products and services to meet the members' financial needs, partnering with service teams to deliver a seamless experience.
- Meet quarterly metrics and service objectives, including sales targets and incentives, to drive business growth and execute on key initiatives.
- Complete required compliance training and maintain in-depth knowledge of all current credit union products and services.
- Perform account maintenance activities, including updating member contact and personal information, and follow-up activities for new and existing members.
- Minimum six (6) months in a fast-paced sales or customer service role required; financial services experience preferred.
- Excellent listening skills, with the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas concisely and logically.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
- Aptitude for learning a variety of computer systems and technology to solve member issues.
- Possesses critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification/License: Notary preferred.
- Target Compensation: $24.50 to $30.00 per hour + quarterly incentive.
- Benefits options include: traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401K matching up to 5% per pay period, accrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment, 11 paid federal holidays, and special employee pricing on lending products.
