Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and Sourcing: Procure electronic components, including PCBs, circuit boards, passive components, and microwave products, from qualified vendors.
  • Vendor Management: Qualify and manage a portfolio of vendors, obtaining quotes and sending out bids as needed.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate with suppliers to determine the lowest cost consistent prices and prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of 3-5 direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure successful procurement operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, and Quality/Engineering, to ensure seamless procurement operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Aerospace and Defense or Electronic Manufacturing industries.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
