Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at Innova Solutions. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting vendors to negotiate prices and delivery terms
  • Verifying supplies and managing inventory levels
  • Communicating with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform project managers of potential delays
  • Assisting with the placement, adjustments, and cancellations of purchase orders
  • Working with fulfillment teams to flow products through warehouses
  • Monitoring rebalancing of assigned inventory to ensure excess inventory is optimized
  • Analyzing and reporting on replenishment planning KPIs (instocks, fill rate, days of inventory, inefficient inventory)

Requirements:

  • Accountable for decisions, actions, and results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Advanced skills in Excel (pivots, lookups) - preferred
  • Experience working in supply chain planning software a plus
