Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist II to join our team at SRS Distribution. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers' places of business or job sites within a 200-mile radius of our branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations.
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck, comparing purchase orders and delivery tickets.
  • Conduct job site inspections and document any existing damage to property.
  • Capture pictures of delivered building products in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Ability to load and unload building products weighing up to 100 lbs. each.
  • Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Must be a minimum 18 years of age (21 for interstate driving or hazardous materials).
