Position Summary:

The Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the food and beverage operations within our establishment. This position serves as the second-in-command, necessitating proficiency in all operational roles within the cinema and dining areas.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role, preferably as an AGM or in senior management.
  • Experience in the entertainment or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a commitment of 50-55 hours per week as needed.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Serve Safe Manager Certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a guest-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members under the guidance of the General Manager.
  • Implement cash handling procedures as per company policy.
  • Ensure effective execution of staff training programs.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to all hourly staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
  • Initiate maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment as directed.
  • Identify and mentor potential Assistant Managers and Trainers for career advancement.
  • Document and promote employee recognition and incentive programs.
  • Foster positive employee relations and uphold operational standards.
  • Drive financial performance by analyzing reports and developing strategies to enhance revenue and manage expenses.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility for inventory and operational costs.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.
  • Continuously enhance operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to standards.
  • Exhibit strong coaching and teaching abilities.
  • Demonstrate accountability for personal conduct and professionalism.
  • Embrace diversity in the workplace.
  • Monitor risk management practices related to safety and emergency situations.
  • Exhibit innovative thinking and the ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies.
