About Our Team:
The Applied Machine Learning (AML) team is focused on the research and implementation of cutting-edge AI technologies, including large pretrained models and collaborative learning between devices and the cloud. Our work spans various practical applications such as search, recommendation systems, advertising, auditing, and federated learning.
Members of our team come from diverse backgrounds, encompassing areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV), multimodal systems, graph computing, and federated learning, with over 100 publications in leading conferences.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced models for a variety of applications;
- Work collaboratively with software engineers and research scientists to create enterprise-level platforms utilizing state-of-the-art models;
- Engage with open-source communities and academic institutions to further AI advancements;
- Guide interns and recent graduates, assisting them in becoming proficient engineers recognized by both engineering and production teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Preference for candidates with experience in large-scale online machine learning platforms, particularly in pretrained models, recommendation systems, or advertising technologies.
- Candidates with publications in top-tier conferences such as ICLR, CVPR, ACL, VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDM, OSDI, or relevant internship experience, as well as those who have excelled in ACM competitions, are preferred.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, alongside programming skills in languages such as Python or Java.
- Ability to independently manage the design and development of subsystems, ensuring high-quality code, effective structure, and system stability.
