Optum in the Tri-State Area (formerly CareMount Medical, ProHEALTH New York, and Riverside Medical Group) presents a cohesive network that allows us to work in unison to enhance care coordination among our physicians and healthcare teams. Together, we provide you and your family access to over 2,100 healthcare providers across 70 specialties, operating in 360 medical practices and more than 55 urgent care facilities throughout New York, New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care to patients and their families through direct and/or telephonic communication, adhering to established protocols and practices.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient care delivery, optimal coordination of efforts, and active patient involvement in care planning.
  • Assist physicians or other healthcare providers with clinical procedures and engage in patient education.
  • Provide guidance to clerical staff, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Valid New York State (NYS) license with current registration, in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a licensed practical nurse or 2 years as a medical assistant in a relevant practice area.

New York Residents Only: The hourly wage for New York residents ranges from $18.80 to $36.78. Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, work experience, and certifications.
