The Hiring Need

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Executive to join our client's Special Projects Building Division in Irvine, California. This individual will be responsible for leading and overseeing the division's entire Los Angeles County territory, working closely with owners, architects, designers, property managers, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver successful projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage an entire special projects group in Los Angeles County
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and budgets
  • Communicate project schedules and budgets to subcontractors and vendors
  • Ensure accurate and complete plans and specifications are issued to all subcontractors and document any omissions or inaccuracies
  • Oversee as-builts, submittals, and manuals, in conjunction with the superintendent, and ensure all records are transmitted to the owner upon completion of the project
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting to the accounting department
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2-5+ years' experience working as a Construction Project Executive or Senior Project Manager for a full-service commercial general contractor within the state of California
  • Past project experience involving commercial interiors, commercial tenant improvements, commercial renovations, corporate office, tribal gaming/casino resort, aerospace, industrial/warehouse, retail, entertainment/amusement park, resort/hospitality, aviation, multifamily high-rise interiors, or another form commercial special projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering or another applicable field from a U.S. accredited college or university (preferred but not necessarily required)
The Compensation Package

This successful Commercial Construction Project Executive will be compensated with a competitive base salary ranging from $215,000.00 - $285,000.00 based on work experience, plus additional benefits and perks, including an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), companywide annual discretionary based bonus, potential sign-on bonus, companywide annual market salary adjustment, salary raise of 2-6% every year, $1,000 monthly vehicle allowance or company leased vehicle provided, company credit card for all gas expenses, company provided laptop and mobile work phone, 401K retirement plan, premium Health/dental/vision benefits w/ family coverage, tuition Reimbursement program, and open vacation policy (equivalent to 3-4 weeks of vacation PTO)
