Job Title: Senior Project Manager of Construction

Uprite Construction is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our commercial construction projects. As a seasoned professional, you will oversee complex projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct all phases of commercial construction projects, focusing on tenant improvements and ground-up builds.
  • Develop, monitor, and update comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for efficient time and material utilization.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align project objectives with client expectations.
  • Interpret and evaluate blueprints, plans, and technical drawings to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, optimizing costs and securing favorable terms.
  • Enforce compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and building codes.
  • Monitor project milestones and adjust plans proactively to maintain timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed project reports, status updates, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Resolve project-related challenges and conflicts promptly, minimizing impact on project timelines.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, specifically in commercial construction and tenant improvements.
  • Proven expertise in navigating and applying California State building codes and construction regulations.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) and the MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and drive project success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure environments and under tight deadlines.
  • Extensive experience in successfully managing complex tenant improvement projects in commercial settings.
