The Hiring Need:

C | An Executive Search Firm has been retained to find a seasoned Commercial Construction Project Estimator to join the rapidly growing Special Projects Building Division based in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a full-service commercial general contractor, estimating special projects such as commercial interiors, commercial tenant improvements, commercial renovations, corporate office, tribal gaming/casino resort, aerospace, industrial/warehouse, retail, entertainment/amusement park, resort/hospitality, aviation, multifamily high-rise interiors, or other commercial special projects.

Job Responsibilities:
This experienced Commercial Construction Project Estimator will report directly to the Sr. Estimator, Sr. PM, Project Executive, and Vice President of Special Projects, providing exposure and opportunities to learn from multiple high-level executives within the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating multiple special projects from start to completion, utilizing skills and traits necessary for success in this role.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 2-5+ years' experience working in a Construction Project Estimating capacity for a full-service commercial general contractor within the state of California.

Past experience estimating special projects such as commercial interiors, commercial tenant improvements, commercial renovations, corporate office, tribal gaming/casino resort, aerospace, industrial/warehouse, retail, entertainment/amusement park, resort/hospitality, aviation, multifamily high-rise interiors, or other commercial special projects.

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering or another applicable field from a U.S. accredited college or university (preferred but not necessarily required).


Compensation Package:

This successful Commercial Construction Project Estimator will be compensated with a competitive base salary ranging from $115,000 to $155,000, based on work experience. The compensation package also includes additional benefits and perks, such as an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), companywide annual discretionary-based bonus, potential sign-on bonus, companywide annual market salary adjustment, salary raise of 2-8% every year, company-provided laptop and mobile work phone, 401K retirement plan, premium Health/dental/vision benefits with family coverage, tuition reimbursement program, and open vacation policy (equivalent to 3-4 weeks of vacation PTO).
