Job Description

At Terracon, we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will be responsible for conducting environmental site investigations, assessments, and surveys to sample, measure, and analyze air, water, material, and soil under the direction of senior environmental staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits, field observations, and field data collection and sampling of water, soil, and other materials.
  • Document clearly and thoroughly all field activities and observations.
  • Assist senior staff with the evaluation of data such as field observations and findings, laboratory test results, reports prepared by others, drawings, and aerial photographs.
  • Prepare reports in accordance with the scope, schedule, and budget developed in the associated proposals.
  • Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related science field.
  • Thorough understanding of standard PPE needed for work in Levels C and D.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
  • OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER preferred.

The expected salary range for this position is $78,800 annually. Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
