About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Quality Manager to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and develop effective care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of care and promote cost containment.
  • Perform concurrent reviews of medical records to ensure medical necessity, intensity of service, and severity of illness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and reduce costs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in acute care nursing or a related field.
  • A current state Registered Nurse license or equivalent.
  • Experience in case management, discharge planning, or nursing management.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Behavioral Violence Prevention Training within 3 months of hire and maintenance of current certification.
