The Accounts Payable Manager is a key role within the Enterprise Community Development (ECD) team, responsible for overseeing the organization's accounts payable process and staff. Key Responsibilities:- Manage Accounts Payable Functions: Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring all payments are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare Periodic Reconciliations: Prepare certain periodic reconciliations as required.
- Support Process Efficiencies: Support the VP Finance in driving process efficiencies in daily tasks, identifying process improvements through automation, and cross-training employees.
- Maintain Internal Controls: Ensure a robust internal control environment is supported through daily responsibilities, including maintaining various sections of the corporate accounting manual and other process or control documentation.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Team: Serve as a collaborative member of the Enterprise team, challenging the status quo and striving for overall process improvements, working with other members of the team and organization to make recommendations to improve business and communication processes.
- Supervise Corporate Finance Staff: Manage up to four employees, providing performance feedback, goal setting, and reviews.
- Develop Team Members: Actively encourage the development of direct report employees and team members to promotable staff members.
- Set Goals and Communicate Departmental Objectives: Set team and individual goals, communicate departmental goals, and ensure all employees understand the overall goals of their department and the company as a whole.
- Address Performance Issues: Address performance issues constructively and in a timely fashion.
- Delegate Responsibilities: Delegate responsibilities to direct reports and encourage them to participate in special projects.
- Develop Team Members to Challenge the Status Quo: Develop team members to challenge the status quo and strive for overall process improvements, working with other members of the team and organization to make recommendations to improve business and communication processes.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Accounting Experience: Minimum 5-7+ years' accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years' experience with accounts payable strongly preferred.
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years supervisory management experience preferred.
- Financial, Analytical, and Organizational Skills: Must possess strong financial, analytical, organizational, and quantitative skills, and the ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands, and meet deadlines with a quality, accurate work product.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must be highly motivated, able to work independently, and possess strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Knowledge of Real Estate Terminology and Concepts: Knowledge of real estate terminology and concepts preferred; basic knowledge of financial services industry and LIHTC desirable.
- Proficiency in Software and Systems: Proficient with Excel and Word, and able to quickly learn new software and systems required.
- Experience with Accounting Systems: Experience with accounting systems required, experience with Workday and Yardi preferred.
- Strong Ethics and Professionalism: Must demonstrate strong ethics and professionalism and understand how to work with confidential information.

- Base Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $103,000 - $120,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
