We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Recruit Up, LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of managing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare month-end close and general ledger entries
  • Manage job cost accounting and revenue recognition
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform detailed variance analysis and provide regular financial updates to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and timely billing in accordance with the contract
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts
  • Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Internal Controls and Compliance:
  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets
  • Oversee compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements
Cost Management and Profitability:
  • Analyze division-level costs and identify opportunities to optimize expenses
  • Support pricing strategies and cost allocation
Cash Flow and Working Capital Management:
  • Monitor division cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity
  • Optimize working capital by managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels
Strategic Planning:
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the finance department

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) and 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including management experience in construction, industrial services, or utility services.
