Fire Protection Sales Specialist

At Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, we're seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Sales Specialist to join our team. As an Outside Fire Sprinkler Consultant, you will be responsible for securing new profitable sales and/or adding additional services to new and existing customers within a specified geographical assigned territory in Jacksonville, Florida.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. This position offers excellent pay, medical, dental, vision benefits, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, 401(k) with employer match, paid vacation, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with building owners and property management companies.
  • Prepares and completes estimates, determining costs of projects within company guidelines.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs, identifying and suggesting products to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR five years of related sales experience required.
  • 2+ years of Outside B2B Sales experience required.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
