Position: Quality Inspector at Rittal North America LLC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive inspections on both in-process and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Confirm the accurate completion of all necessary documentation and checklists.
  • Conduct initial inspections on new or modified projects to verify adherence to specifications.
  • Prevent the distribution of products that do not meet quality criteria until all issues are resolved.
  • Ensure product alignment with shipping and packaging regulations.
  • Support warehouse personnel with quality-related inquiries and assessments.
  • Provide immediate feedback to production staff and management regarding any defects detected.
  • Assist in interpreting technical drawings and the proper application of measurement tools.
  • Regularly communicate with Quality Engineers about identified concerns and defect types.
  • Update the Quality Manager on a daily basis regarding failure metrics.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent movement including standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds overhead.
  • Occasional use of computers and keyboards during work hours.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Competence in reading blueprints and using handheld measuring devices.
  • Basic computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • Previous experience in inspection roles is preferred.
