Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Business Development Representative to join our team at SERVPRO of Broome County, Tompkins & Tioga Counties. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our commercial services in assigned territories, growing and developing our commercial customer base, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with large business development partners and key associations.
  • Engage in one-to-one relationships and establish brand awareness.
  • Provide priority response for large commercial businesses.
  • Establish lead qualification for potential commercial projects.
  • Provide and execute storm responses for commercial clients.
  • Utilize Salesforce client management system to document client and franchise community engagements.
  • Assist with program implementation for all new commercial clients.
  • Maximize account opportunities (leads, jobs, and revenue) by commercial clients.
  • Communicate activities and results to commercial clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of progressively responsible outside business-to-business sales experience.
  • Experience with sales and marketing in the commercial development sector.
  • Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired.
  • Working knowledge of business software technologies is preferable.
  • Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) certification or ability to obtain within two years of employment.
Benefits
  • $40,000 annual base salary plus commission percentage and bonus incentives.

  • Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.– 5 p.m., additional time as needed.
