Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Halifax Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, providing patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
  • Provide patient care and education, including explaining procedures and answering questions.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or regionally accredited and approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • 1 year experience in the Radiologic Technology Sciences and/or area of specialization preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in one modality.
  • Licensed by the State of Florida to operate ionizing and non-ionizing imaging equipment.
