CT Technologist Job Description

Radiology plays a critical role in diagnosis and treatment. As a CT Technologist at RAYUS Radiology, you will be at the forefront of this process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.
  • Screen patients for any precautions or contradictions before exams, using two patient identifiers to ensure accuracy.
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients, positioning them for optimal imaging.
  • Perform routine and advanced scanning procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
  • Train new associates and provide technical expertise.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • CT certification.
