Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Radiology - CT Department at Halifax Health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality imaging modalities to patients, including CT scans and other diagnostic procedures.
- Administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals as needed, with thorough patient assessment and follow-up information.
- Demonstrate expertise in section computer and/or equipment technology, ensuring seamless operation and maintenance.
- Provide backup supervision and direction to radiology sections in the absence of a coordinator.
- Perform duties of a Level II Radiographer/Technologist as requested, and directly supervise students.
- Maintain certification according to State, National, and Medical Center regulations.
- Graduate of a Joint Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or regionally accredited and approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in more than one modality.
- Licensed by the State of Florida to operate ionizing and non-ionizing imaging equipment according to MQA, Joint Commission, and ALARA standards.
- Experience with the PACS system preferred.
- Previous experience in more than one modality required.
