Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit sales quotations, including thermal design, costing, terms, and conditions.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and develop competitive offerings.
- Negotiate orders with customers to ensure company profitability and ability to fabricate within quotation constraints.
- Document sales activity in CRM software.
- Comply with Tender Review and Approval Process requirements.
- Attend design verification meetings to transition order management to Projects.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, government regulations, and shop capabilities.
- Source and negotiate pricing and delivery from sub-suppliers during quotation stage.
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning.
- Develop and maintain professional communications with all levels of staff and customers.
- Maintain a working knowledge of company products and services.
- Regular attendance and ability to work on-site.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, and employees.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering from an accredited four-year college preferred, or a minimum of 7-10 years related experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
- Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and outside weather conditions.
