Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit sales quotations, including thermal design, costing, terms, and conditions.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and develop competitive offerings.
  • Negotiate orders with customers to ensure company profitability and ability to fabricate within quotation constraints.
  • Document sales activity in CRM software.
  • Comply with Tender Review and Approval Process requirements.
  • Attend design verification meetings to transition order management to Projects.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, government regulations, and shop capabilities.
  • Source and negotiate pricing and delivery from sub-suppliers during quotation stage.
  • Participate in sales forecasting and planning.
  • Develop and maintain professional communications with all levels of staff and customers.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company products and services.
  • Regular attendance and ability to work on-site.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, and employees.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering from an accredited four-year college preferred, or a minimum of 7-10 years related experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
  • Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and outside weather conditions.
