  • Develop and refine sample preparation techniques utilizing methods such as sputter coating and wax sectioning.
  • Generate analytical reports for production batches of anode materials for review by the Anode and Cell teams.
  • Implement and oversee SPC-based controls for anode production systems, providing immediate feedback to process owners when variations are detected.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers to deliver targeted metrology support and insights for R&D initiatives in real-time.
  • Assist with metrology requirements of other departments as needed (e.g., imaging for cathodes or separators).
  • Engage in root cause analysis, investigation, and the implications of corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the establishment of best-known methods (BKM).
  • Efficiently manage time and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as necessary to facilitate the smooth operation of the Anode Manufacturing department.

  • Capability to analyze data and apply basic problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer and data management skills.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • This position is based in Fremont, CA and requires on-site presence. A reliable commute or relocation plan is necessary.

  • Health benefits encompass medical, dental, and vision coverage, with options available for both HMO and PPO plans.
  • Employer-funded Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and HSA-compatible medical plans.
  • Life and AD&D insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, and mental health support services.
  • Voluntary wellness support packages available.
  • Pet health insurance options.
