Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team in Los Angeles County, CA. As a key member of our Active Consulting Team, you will provide direct services and support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and/or mental health diagnoses in crisis or at risk of inpatient placement.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical recommendations and training to participating providers, caregivers, family members, and others involved in the individual's care and treatment.
- Assist providers with development, implementation, and monitoring of Person-Centered Plans, Behavior Support Plans, Mental Health Treatment Plans, and Crisis Safety Plans.
- Complete agency and individual assessments to guide subsequent clinical interventions.
- Serve as a member of the Active Consulting Team and participate in provider wraparound or consultation meetings.
- Facilitate referrals quickly to prevent escalation of crisis and establish formal and informal collaboration with provider agencies, payers, project, and community stakeholders.
- Current California Licensure as LCSW or LPC.
- Maintain professional license in good standing with applicable licensing board(s).
- Valid BLS CPR and Basic First Aid certification.
- Crisis de-escalation verbal skills and physical management training certificate.
- Two years' experience providing case management services to individuals with IDD and/or Behavioral Health diagnoses.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Fluent bilingual speaker in one or more of the following languages: English/Spanish, English/Mandarin, English/Korean, English/Tagalog.
- Two years' experience working with individuals diagnosed with IDD and behavioral health diagnoses.
- Experience working with individuals in crisis in community settings.
