Position Overview:

The team of Field Install and Service Technicians at Kinetic plays a crucial role in representing our esteemed telecommunications brand, connecting homeowners, small businesses, and enterprise partners across the nation. Our technicians are passionate about technology and committed to linking customers with valuable products. By offering technical expertise and exceptional customer support, our Field Install and Service Technicians foster meaningful connections that lead to enduring relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • No prior experience is necessary; Kinetic's comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills to install and repair residential and business communication services, including telephone, internet, and video.
  • Learn to utilize tools and testing equipment to service various technologies and network designs.
  • Recommend products and services that address the communication needs of customers.
  • Engage in both buried and aerial plant work, which requires pole climbing and ladder skills.
  • Safely operate and maintain a clean and organized company service vehicle.
  • Work in diverse environments, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Complete essential safety training and adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Report directly to the Manager of Local Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Basic technology and mathematical skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cables.
  • Capable of using equipment with a maximum load capacity of 275 lbs.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
  • Successfully complete required safety training.
