Job Overview

Tanknology is a leading company in the environmental protection industry, dedicated to safeguarding the environment from fuel leaks in tanks and piping systems. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our mission to protect the environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a mechanical aptitude and experience in trades, over-the-road driving, or industrial/commercial settings. As a Field Service Technician, you will be trained in our proprietary software, TANCS, and will work on job sites, performing testing, installs, and repairs, while recording findings and managing inventory.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in trades, over-the-road driving, or industrial/commercial settings.
  • Can lift up to 70lbs and perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Are able to work independently and have basic knowledge of computers, tablets, or phones for data entry.
  • Can communicate effectively and adhere to strict safety and technical protocols.
  • Are willing to travel in a multi-state area and stay in hotels, with a generous per diem provided.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site assessments and surveys, as well as associated procedures.
  • Conduct leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping.
  • Install equipment and test tank gauge systems.
  • Enter and analyze test results into our computer system and communicate findings to the Operations team.
  • Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on company vehicles.
