Job Summary

As a key member of the Alzheimer's Association team, the Fundraising Vice President, Development will drive success and achieve revenue goals through positive engagement with staff and community volunteer leaders. This role requires a proven sales and relationship management professional who can identify and cultivate relationships with key community leaders and C-Suite corporate partners effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive development strategies and goals that align with the Association's strategic plan and deliver measurable results.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of professional development staff to build successful event growth strategies through community and volunteer engagement.
  • Work closely with Chapter and cross-functional leadership to develop ambitious development strategies and goals.
  • Utilize data to increase productivity and enhance results, and analyze and utilize data to drive success.
  • Build a positive, healthy, and inclusive team environment, and successfully recruit, manage, and coach fundraising staff and volunteers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in sales/business or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years proven leadership experience in peer-to-peer, fundraising, and other diversified fundraising programs.
  • Experience with mass market events like Walk to End Alzheimer's required.
  • Strong track record for networking and cultivating key C-Suite community and corporate leaders.
  • Successful experience in supervising, coaching, and motivating fundraising staff and volunteers.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to build capacity, and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
