Regional Vice President Job Description

TRG Management Company LP is seeking a highly skilled Regional Vice President to lead our property management team in the region. As a key member of our Central Property Management Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and maximizing the value of our real estate assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing the performance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Capital Asset Management: Ensure buildings are maintained in good repair, prioritize maintenance tasks, and strategically maintain building systems to extend their life.
  • Vendor Management: Manage memoranda of agreement and vendor contracts, ensuring services meet tenant needs and evaluating contractor performance.
  • Lease Administration: Manage initial rent ups and ongoing re-rentals, ensuring compliance with regulatory and other requirements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain projects in compliance with low-income housing tax credit rules and ensure compliance with oversight agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Revenue Maximization: Maximize revenues to ensure a 95% rent collection rate.
  • Staff Development and Tenant Relations: Oversee staff development, maintain effective relations with tenants, and create opportunities for community building.
  • Financial Management: Develop annual budgets, manage expenses, and review performance using TRG property management and accounting systems.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit and supervise highly qualified staff, providing training and development plans to ensure their success.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of management experience in property management, including experience as a Regional Manager for affordable sites.
  • Certifications: Experience in low-income housing tax credit compliance and affordable housing rules and regulations, with requisite tax credit and HUD certifications.
  • Skills: Supervisory and management skills, program planning, budgeting process, and resource management.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literacy, specifically in property management software (preferably Onesite/Real Page) and Microsoft applications.
