About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Firmware Design Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating the most technologically advanced EW products in the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements analysis and decomposition
  • Sub-system design, modeling, simulation, and design verification test
  • Digital signal processing and design in areas such as firmware design using Intel and/or Xilinx tools
  • Digital hardware design, including subsystem/module digital circuits, FPGA knowledge, COTS interfaces, high-speed memory interfaces, and subsystem development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in digital signal processing, Intel/Altera and/or AMD/Xilinx FPGAs, Intel Quartus Prime Pro and/or Vivado, and digital hardware design and firmware integration
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • 12+ years' experience with AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or Microsemi FPGAs
  • Experience in high-level modeling tools and languages such as SystemVerilog or SystemC
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Questa Firmware Simulation
