KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver speech therapy in alignment with the American Speech & Hearing Association's guidelines within designated counties.
  • Support the educational team in crafting or updating the child's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
  • Document all session notes meticulously, either manually or electronically.
  • Prepare and submit essential documentation, including Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reports, and updates to IEP goals.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment and service delivery plan for each child, recommending adjustments to the IEP as necessary.
  • Engage with families to provide education, support, and information regarding their child's language, communication, speech, and feeding requirements.
  • Foster and maintain constructive working relationships with the care team and families.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Initial Speech Pathology Certificate
  • Possession of TSSLD (assistance available for application if not yet obtained)

COMPENSATION:

  • $35-$45 per hour with a $200/month stipend after three months (based on setting and location)
