Apex Therapeutic Services is seeking dedicated full-time and part-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP or CFY) to provide school-based speech therapy services to students in NYC Public, D75, and Charter schools located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, and Queens.

Responsibilities:

Assessment & Diagnosis :

Work with students exhibiting a range of communication disorders, including language, articulation (speech sound disorders), fluency, voice/resonance, and swallowing issues.


Individualized Planning :
Assess each student's disabilities impacting their education and create personalized plans addressing personal, social/emotional, academic, and vocational needs.

Literacy Support :

Contribute to the literacy achievement of students with communication disorders, including those at risk for school failure or struggling in the school setting.


Alternative Learning Methods :
Support students with significant challenges by determining and implementing alternative learning methods.

Goal Setting :
Identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes.

Instructional Activities :
Plan and implement relevant instructional activities in the classroom.

Requirements:
Must be a registered/licensed or pursuing a license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State.
Must have TSSLD certification.
