Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech therapy services in accordance with the American Speech & Hearing Association's guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the educational team to develop or modify the child's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
  • Document all session notes accurately, either manually or electronically.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation, including Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reports, and updates to IEP goals.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of the treatment and service delivery plan, recommending adjustments to the IEP as needed.
  • Engage with families to provide education, support, and information regarding their child's communication and speech needs.
  • Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with care teams and families.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Initial Speech Pathology Certificate.
  • Possession of TSSLD (assistance available for application if not yet obtained).


Compensation:

Hourly rate ranges from $35 to $45, with a $200 monthly stipend after three months, depending on the setting and location.
