Nuclear Safety Leadership Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Organizational Excellence Director. This role will play a critical part in driving excellence in nuclear safety and performance improvement across the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead site visit teams and peer review teams to identify gaps to excellence and strengths.
- Conduct organizational effectiveness diagnostic visits and provide assistance to improve performance.
- Evaluate and provide assistance in areas of organizational effectiveness, nuclear safety culture, and performance improvement.
- Build a collaborative team to leverage collective knowledge and experience.
- Communicate results to utility CEOs and CNOs.
- Interact with all levels of management and utility personnel.
- Engage in and provide leadership for various initiatives and activities.
- Coach and mentor internal and external peers.
- Advanced knowledge of industry standards and best practices in leadership effectiveness, team effectiveness, and management model development and implementation.
- Advanced knowledge of industry standards and best practices in performance improvement and operating experience programs.
- Advanced knowledge of independent oversight.
- Advanced knowledge of the continuum and peer review operations and nuclear plants.
- Advanced communication skills (listen, speak, write).
- Advanced planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Advanced interpersonal skills.
- Advanced conflict management skills.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Advanced decision-making skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Senior Reactor Operator Certification.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, or other related area.
- Navy Nuclear Training.
- Senior Reactor Operator License.
- Minimum of five years of nuclear industry experience.
- Previous industry experience in multiple functional areas.
- Previous relevant manager experience.
- Employment is dependent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test.
- This position will require obtaining unescorted access status.
- This position requires direct or indirect access to certain export-controlled technology.
