Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate efforts with various departments, including engineering, supply chain, and environmental compliance, to meet project goals.
  • Manage tracking related to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), ensuring it aligns with the Joint Venture Industrialization strategy and complies with all regulations.
  • Formulate and execute methodologies for assessing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the entire supply chain.
  • Evaluate data from mining activities and manufacturing processes to pinpoint significant emission sources.
  • Compile detailed reports on greenhouse gas emissions, emphasizing areas for enhancement and strategies for mitigation.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all processes and findings to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Work collaboratively with cell engineering teams, suppliers, joint venture partners, and material suppliers to collect data and synchronize efforts.
  • Present project developments and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and adopt best practices for minimizing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements, technologies, and regulations concerning greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing large-scale projects within the automotive or manufacturing industries.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of greenhouse gas emissions, including their sources, measurement techniques, and reduction strategies.
  • Familiarity with industrial operations, particularly in mining and manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, particularly focused on environmental sustainability or greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Experience within the automotive or manufacturing sectors is highly advantageous.
