Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Field Service Technician to join our team at Industrial Oils Unlimited/Adjuvants Unlimited. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering lubricating oil, liquefied petroleum, and mixed surfactants to customers while ensuring the safe operation of our vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Drive a truck to transport and deliver lubricating oil, liquefied petroleum, and mixed surfactants to customers, adhering to commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips, submit reports, and maintain personal logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading trucks, including driving into position, loading/unloading with a forklift, verifying loaded amounts, and connecting heavy hoses.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, follow specialized customer safety guidelines, and ensure safe operation of crane pumps and lift gates.
  • Warehouse Functions: Assist in warehouse functions when not driving, including daily inventory and cleaning of truck accessories.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Certifications: CDL-A, HAZMAT, and Tanker certifications required.
  • Skills: Verbal and written skills necessary to read and follow instructions, give instructions, and communicate with drivers and customers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, push/pull 100 pounds, and regularly walk briskly across large expanses.
Working Conditions

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires a clean Motor Vehicle Record and stable work history. The ability to drive several miles per day and climb ladders several times per day is also required.
