POSITION TITLE: Service Technician I

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay ranging from $17.00 to $20.83 based on experience and location.
  • Overtime opportunities available at time and a half.

Role of the Service Technician

As a member of NCR's Field Services Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions that foster long-term customer relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring effective communication and a focus on finding optimal solutions. Your responsibilities will include organizing and addressing customer issues, as well as proactively managing potential problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently.
  • Service electromechanical systems, including self-checkout solutions, within your designated area.
  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and system overhauls.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet NCR's fleet requirements.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic systems.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged travel and physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large servers, mainframe systems, and imaging software.
  • A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification.
  • One or more years of relevant experience.
