About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Resource Planning Manager to join our AWS Operations team. As a key member of our Sales Strategy and Operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing resource planning strategies to support the growth and success of our business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional initiatives to optimize resource allocation and headcount management
  • Developing and refining resource planning strategies to meet business objectives
  • Collaborating with HR, Recruiting, and Finance teams to drive headcount management best practices and processes
  • Designing and implementing annual resource planning processes and tools
  • Analyzing complex data to identify trends and patterns in headcount data

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in workforce or resource planning
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience using Tableau or AWS QuickSight
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex, high-visibility, cross-functional programs or reorganizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous, matrixed organization
  • Experience supporting sales organizations
  • Experience developing data-driven solutions to determine and drive improvement
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and data presentation skills
  • Ability to navigate complexity when problems involve multiple systems, teams, or processes
