Join Our Dynamic Finance Team as a Senior Accounting Specialist

Are you meticulous and passionate about financial accuracy? Our esteemed client is on the lookout for a committed and highly organized Senior Accounting Specialist to enhance our finance department.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of our financial documentation, assisting with various accounting tasks such as payroll management, journal entries, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), inventory oversight, maintenance of debt and asset records, invoice processing, inventory management, and financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of financial documentation.
  • Oversee payroll processing and journal entries.
  • Administer accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Monitor inventory and maintain debt and asset records.
  • Manage invoice processing and inventory oversight.
  • Support financial reporting activities.
  • Prepare and review financial statements on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Analyze financial data to uncover trends and discrepancies.
  • Review and process vendor invoices and customer payments.
  • Track aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Match invoices to incoming and outgoing items, enter bills, and issue payments weekly.
  • Oversee employee expenses, credit card transactions, bookkeeping (AP/AR), and customer service to ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Close monthly books by reviewing unshipped sales orders, unpaid invoices, and upcoming bills, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Create budgets, financial reports, and cost comparisons for various company segments; present findings to CPA and management as required.
  • Research opportunities to enhance business spending while minimizing costs.
  • Monitor budget-to-actual variances and provide necessary explanations.
  • Process and record credit applications, customer refunds, credit memos, etc.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop precise budget forecasts.

Qualifications:
