Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team at Leonardo DRS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Perform complex financial analysis and reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Financial Systems: Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced staff members and may lead tasks or projects.
  • Recommendations: Recommend improvements to accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate findings and recommendations to management and support operations management by evaluating existing business practices and recommending improvements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting with 5+ years of directly related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment.
