Job Overview

We are looking for a Research and Laboratory Support Specialist to become a part of our esteemed consumer lawn, garden, and pest control products organization. Ideal candidates should possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Biology, Botany, or Microbiology. In this role, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the routine cleaning and upkeep of plant tissue culture laboratories, including preparation of reagents and media, seed germination, and basic in-vitro culture transfers while maintaining sterile conditions.
  • Support fundamental molecular biology and biochemistry tasks, including DNA/RNA extraction and sample preparation for metabolite extraction.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of plants in both greenhouse and field settings.
  • Work Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour
