Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interior Installation Specialist to join our team at Dassault Aviation's Little Rock Service Center. As an Interior Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and fabricating aircraft interior components, including side panels, headliners, and window assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Fabrication: Perform necessary calculations and fabricate and/or install complete or major assemblies and sub-assemblies, including side panels, headliners, and window assemblies.
  • Product Assembly: Assemble and install products, such as galleys, lavatories, entertainment cabinets, and water systems.
  • Window and Door Installation: Install window assemblies, sliding window shades, and window frames.
  • Carpet Installation: Cut, fit, and install carpeting in aircraft.
  • Chair Installation: Install cabin and cockpit chairs.
  • System Checks: Perform functional checks on installed systems, including air, oxygen, and water systems.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and operate standard shop equipment.
  • Work Planning: Determine work to be accomplished to complete assignments within established schedules and plan accordingly.
  • Logistics: Accurately log computerized labor data collection for time and attendance tracking.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist other personnel on specific job assignments.
  • Safety: Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: One (1) year of experience in basic carpentry or related field.
  • Skills: Ability to work from blueprints, CATIA models, company standards, and work instructions. Must have required tools and be able to use drills, belt, disc, and drum sanders, and other common hand tools and equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs, transporting any and all interior furnishings and assisting other employees with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical and muscular dexterity to install carpets, headliners, window panels, PSUs, cabinet assemblies, couches, seats, tables, and related components. Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Health and Safety: Must not be abnormally allergic to glue, resin, wood dust, and other by-products of interior type furnishings.
