Position Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled Aircraft Interior Installers to join our team. This role is essential in shaping the future of military aircraft, business jets, and space systems. The ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic and complex work environment.

The Aircraft Interior Installer will be responsible for crafting and installing various components that contribute to the overall functionality and aesthetics of the aircraft interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned projects within designated man-hour budgets and timelines while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install a variety of products, including window panels, headliners, and decorative elements.
  • Install main cabin cabinetry, such as galleys, crew closets, entertainment units, and other essential components.
  • Conduct functional checks on installed systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Adjust and test mechanical assemblies, including drawers, tables, and seats.
  • Install carpeting and perform function tests on cockpit and cabin seating.
  • Utilize standard shop equipment effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor performed in our Manufacturing Execution System.
  • Ensure tasks are completed with high quality within set budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with team members as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety, training, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and keep work areas organized and clean.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to interpret sketches or 3D models.
  • Proficient in reading and following written instructions, including installation and testing procedures.
  • Skilled in using drills, sanders, and other common hand tools.
  • Physical capability to install various components, including carpets and cabinetry, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work in a standing position and perform repetitive movements as required.
  • Capable of entering and exiting aircraft safely while transporting materials.
