Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Urgent Care department, you will be responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients within your scope of practice under the Medical Director's supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health history, physical assessments, and plans for infants, children, and young adults with acute and chronic health conditions.
• Utilize advanced assessment skills to manage a cohort of patients.
• Order and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, and perform other therapeutic or corrective measures to treat illness and improve health status.
• Formulate family-centered plans of care and perform daily documentation as necessary.
• Collaborate and coordinate care with other team members, collect data, and analyze when necessary.

Requirements

• Pediatric experience
• BC/BE in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
• Current State of Arizona certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant or obtained by start date
• Arizona state license
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally
