Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Oncology Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Hematology and Oncology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and compassionate care to our patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health histories, physical assessments, and develop plans of care for infants, children, and young adults with acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Utilize advanced assessment skills to manage a cohort of patients and order and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate care and provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality and research projects to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of pediatric hematology and oncology.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Arizona.
  • Experience working in pediatric hematology and oncology preferred.
