Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  2. Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to emergency breakdowns and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  3. Facilities Management: Assist with the management of facilities, including move-ins, move-outs, and maintenance of assigned buildings.
  4. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment used by individuals with disabilities, including adaptive equipment and accessible homes or work areas.
  5. Lawn Care and Snow Removal: Maintain the grounds and perform snow removal duties as needed.
  6. Janitorial Duties: Perform some janitorial duties to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  7. Availability: Be available to work overtime and be on-call as assigned for after-hours emergencies or alarms.
  8. Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the assigned maintenance vehicle and ensure it is in good working condition.
  9. Tool and Key Management: Be responsible for all assigned tools and keys.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Background in Maintenance and Repair: A background in maintenance and repair is required.
  • Basic Knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Painting, and Carpentry Skills: A basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting, and carpentry skills is required.
  • Ability to Cope with Emergencies: The ability to cope with emergencies and handle a variety of duties, subject to change daily, is required.
