Senior GE Proficy Engineer

Volks Resources is seeking a highly skilled GE Proficy Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with Proficy Workflow, Historian, and SQL 2012 SSRS.
This is a contract position, and the successful candidate must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
The GE Proficy Engineer will be responsible for:
- Plant Apps Screen Modifications
- Screens: addition/update on a tag value or field
- Develop new screens as required
- Add new model with respect to performance improvement
- Historian tag mapping as required
- Calculation variables, fault code changes or additions
- Define specifications as required
- Screen level user security, new user configuration
- Production event model, downtime event models, waste models
- Crew, shift schedule
- Reasons, reason trees, product assignment
- Read data directly from control layer with calculation variables
- Production execution path, genealogy
- Local/Global language configuration
SQL procedure:
- Fine tuning of stored procedures
- Modification in existing stored procedures
- Categorization of procedures according to the functionality
- Simplification of procedures to move towards out of the box functionalities and reduce technical debt
Custom development - Any custom code development / enhancement on solutions that are developed on plant applications, including dot net pages, SQL procedures, Dot net libraries.
Problem analysis:
- Focus on bottlenecks and issues in the lemon receiving and packing area
- Data analysis to identify cause of the issue(s)
- Develop/implement solutions for issues
- Architectural suggestions
