Job Summary

The Training Program Manager at GE Vernova develops and implements comprehensive training strategies to equip field service employees with the skills and competencies needed to drive business success.

This role involves determining the training needs of field roles at a global level, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve technical objectives, and leading complex projects from concept to sustainment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create strategic direction for technical talent and performance requirements, including competency models and career progression frameworks.
  2. Leverage regional best practices to build a harmonized model for roles and standard work of training.
  3. Identify and incorporate Subject Matter Expert inputs in building training programs, balancing required and optional steps.
  4. Collaborate with business functional and regional leaders, as well as Training and Development Managers, to define gaps and paths to fill them.
  5. Review and update competency models and curricula, creating new ones as needed.
  6. Provide organizational development support for managing change and implementing training programs.
  7. Develop metric tools to measure the impact of training programs on effectiveness, engagement, and retention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • Technical Competency Management/Kahuna experience required.
  • Experience working in power generation and a global matrix organization.
  • English proficiency required.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $86,900 to $143,300. This is an exempt from overtime position.
