We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for assisting the cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals
- Place prepared food on plates/trays following tray tickets
- Deliver food and trays to residents and staff
- Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards
- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
- Report equipment/cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Specialized training in food service desirable
- Current ServSafe certification required by State/County law
- Food Handler's card required
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
